Top rack kept coming off the left slide track
I followed the video and even though my dishwasher was slightly different from the one shown, everything worked well. I was lucky that I had enough clearance to pull the dishwasher away from the countertop far enough to make the repair, without having to remove any dishwasher wiring below. I replaced both side tracks, even though only the left side was broken.

Replaced broken upper rack slides.
Same procedure as described elsewhere. Very good idea to replace both left and right tracks at the same time since the majority of the repair effort is to simply remove and replace the dishwasher unit from the cabinet.

Whining noise from dishwasher when filling and leaking around overflow valve
Unplugged dishwasher and turned off water supply. Removed bottom panel. Put rag under valve and unscrewed water inlet. Used ratchet and socket to remove screw from valve. Disconnected wires. Disconnected outlet. Installed new valve opposite of disassembly. Turned water back on. Plugged in and checked for leaks. Test ran.

Top rack slider piece broke
I replaced the holder that connects the top dishwasher rack on the drawer slide. I took it apart carefully so I could remember how to assemble everything back. I did have trouble for a few minutes to get it clipped and I checked the opposite side. After I pondered it for a few moments and did a couple of trial runs at it, it magically slid into the slot, the other did, too, and it was good to go. So very, very pleased!

Door balance cable broke
Pretty easy for the parts. Taking the dishwasher out is the hard part. Typically, you should be able to unscrew the 2 screws holding the dishwasher to the underside of the countertop and then slide out the dishwasher to expose the cable assembly - but you also need to unplug the unit (unless it is hardwired), disconnect the hot water supply line from the angle stop (remember to turn off the angle stop) and sometimes disconnect the drain line from the vacuum breaker or garb disposal. You need to disconnect these things so that you can move the dishwasher out far enough to be able to see the entire right and left sides of the dishwasher. Once that hard part is done, you use a hex driver to remove the old cable pulleys, put on the new cable pulleys, and then feed the light weight cable through the pulleys - the end with the big plastic thingie attaches to the door and the other end attaches to the spring. Then you grab the spring and manhandle it onto the back end of the dishwasher chassis (look for the small hole in line with where the cable would line up. Careful as the spring attachment step could result in an injury - Hope this helps.
