I watched the video of the repair. It was very easy; removed 2 screws; disconnected 2 push-on tabs; removed the element; and then reversed the operation. Be sure to turn off the circuit breaker that powers the oven before you start the repair. Turn it back on when finished and test the oven.

Unplugged the range. Removed the top section of the back of the stove to expose switches. Removed the knob, (pulls off exposing the 2 switch screws), unscrew & pull out from the back. The new switch was slightly bigger but the same manufacture and post letters & numbers. Transfer wires one-at-a-time from the old to the new switch. Mount the new switch back in place, put the screws in and the knob on. I plugged in the stove for a quick test, HA....works perfectly. Unplugged again and put the back panel back on, plugged back in and pushed the stove back in it's hole. BEFORE; the old switch when turned down would come back on BUT stay on high, a lot of boil overs. FINALLY: when turned on, it would NOT turn off, a real fire hazard. Thank you for having an original replacement part.

really easy unscrew the element from the back of the oven unclip remove old one slide clip on the new one and screw back to back of oven. Took 10 minutes or less

Very easy. Remove two screws, pull element forward, remove two wires, install wires on new element, push backward and reinstall the screws. Done!!!

My part was the oven burner for my Tappan stove. I followed a very helpful you tube video. All I had to do was use 1/4" screw-type screwdriver (not sure what you call it), remove screw, pull out each side, pull part away from wire; and then insert the new oven burner!! SIMPLE and I'm a 68-year old widow! I was proud.

All that was needed was to unscrew two screws holding it to the back of the oven and pull it out to get to the wires. Then unhook the wires and install new one. Less than 2 minutes.

Turn power off. At oven, removed two screws from element hanger. Pulled old element out exposing spade connectors. Pulled connectors lnstalled connectors on new element and shoved back in stove and replaced screws. Work done with oven door open using drop light. Check for debris, turn power on, turn oven on to check.

First, make sure power is off to range. Removed backing cover, pulled one wire off infinite switch at a time to put in right place on new switch. Easy fix.

Removed the defective part. Install the new part, insert the connectors. Now its working

Remove the old one and replaced the new one. It was very simple, fast, and easy.

Repair was so easy, Just remove the two screws one on each end of element slowly pull element towards you till you see the ends. Carefully
unplug the wires and then reinstall the new one and put screwes back in and you are all done

Take handle off, then back cover. Of course unplug power. Switch wasn't built exactly like the original but all you have to do is connect each wire to the same letter, number code as on the old one . Works like brand new!

1 - Turn off the power from the panel. 2 - Unplugged the range from outlet. 3 - Unscrewed the black hex screws from the rear panel. 4 - Took a pic of the bad infinite burner switch to ensure the correct wires would connect to the new switch. 5 - Removed knob and unscrewed switch, then replaced with new switch. Matched all of the wires to like, L1, L2, P, H1 and H2. If any wires do not exist for your switch, it is ok because not all ranges use all wires.

Pulled out stove and unplugged. Took off back of stove and unplugged two wires. Opened oven door and unscrewed two nut screws to remove element. Inserted new element and screwed two nut screws back. Went to back of stove and replugged.
