22308 ((1988)) Kenmore Range - Instructions

All I had to do was remove the old insert with the two burners in it and clean under it, then insert the new one! It was really simple. I didn't even need my husband to help!

Take cartridge out of box, slide into slot, done.

Searched on the Web for the prt number printed on the cartridge itself. Found Partselect, and liked availability, price and delivery.

Replacement was literally a 30-sec task, without tools.

Works perfectly, spousal unit happy, more hot dinners ready when I am!

just wanted another set of burners before Thanksgiving or Christmas rolled around and all I have ever had was two plus the grill part of my Jenn-Air. But I did find your site very easy to use and the delivery was very prompt and the packaging was wonderful. I have bookedmarked your site so that if I need anything again for my kitchen I will look at you first.

1. Remove the exhaust vent cover, located in the center of the top of the range. It just lifts off.
2. Swivel the clamp 90 degrees to release the filter.
3. Remove the filter and throw it away
4. Place new filter in place and lock in place by rotating the swivel clamp back 90 degress.
5. Replace the exhaust vent cover

removed motor, saw that stablizers were broke and went to a local parts supply shop called SUNDBERG and was given a price of about 49.00 for three stablizers. at that point i went to the internet and found PARTSELECT.COM were i found the same parts for a fraction of the price,17.00, i could not believe it! SUNDBERG customer service was horrible.PARTSELECT custormer service is great and was just over the internet,any how the repair is done no more loud noise and wife is happy again ,for awhile.thanks keep up the good work.i tell everybody about you guys.

I ordered the kit that contained all 4 wires and contacts. The replacement was fairly easy. The only drawback was the tight quarters in running the wires. The job was quick and a success. Now I can use my right side of my stovetop again!

just plug in cartridge. Put one in looked so much better got a cartridge for other side. stove top looks new now.

Remove and replace grease filter.

Although I am a surgeon, my past experiences trying to repair worn-out 25 year-old appliances have not gone well. Therefore, I approached this entire episode with great deal of doubt and apprehension. However, the knowledge and helpfulness of the sales representative from whom I telephone ordered the units, the very clear installation instructions which promptly arrived with the units, and the very well engineered units themselves made the installation a breeze, less than ten minutes.
