Used Phillips screwdriver to undo brackets that keep dishwasher in place. Pulled out dishwasher from underneath the counter. Placed hinge arm in spring, hooked spring onto clip, placed hinge arm in clip. Put back dishwasher under the counter and screwed in place. Took all of 15 minutes. Saved 185.00 for service call.

Took old basket out and dropped new one in .

I simply removed the bad part and reversed the process. It was very easy and a 12 year old could do it. Thanks for the online tips and recommendations. You saved me over 400.00 which is what a new unit would run. Plus installation. Many Thanks.

Took screws out that hold front panel on, unplugged wiring, changed soap dispenser, and put everything back together. Not a bad repair at all.

Very easy - remove the screws around the inside of the door. 6 screws and 2 plugs to remove the assembly. Just be careful not the strip the sheetmetal screws when putting it back together. No screwguns...

I took out the old rack and rolled in the new. I thought I was going to have to take the rollers off the old one and put them on the new, but they were already on the new rack. The hardest part was getting into the box. I am an 80 year old female.

I removed the old rack and saved the flatware container. Then I put the new rack in.

The difference between the old one and the new one is that between a busted grocery cart with one wheel that always wants to return to the parking lot, and a well-trained dog that does exactly what I ask it to. The new rack was worth the $95 I spent to get it.

The new rack came with wheels and axles, so I didn't need to order more.

Took the screws out of the inner panel to open it and expose the latch area. Found the door spring stuck to the insulation so we saved it. Used the part's list picture to figure out how to put the latch parts together (wish the picture was better). Reattached the inner panel. The latch works better now than when it was new....which makes us wonder.

It was an install. My problem is that the drain tube is not standard to other dishwashers,so I could not get it at either of the local home improvement centers. The good news is that it is larger than the standard, and offers better discharge.

I received the rollers but not the stud rollers in my first shipment. I telephoned and explained that I also needed the stud rollers, which are the axles for the wheels. The stud rollers were FedExed immediately with the shipping waived.

I popped the wheels onto the stud rollers and then popped the assembled roller and stud onto the basket. You can not make a mistake if you put the roller(wheel) on the stud roller(axle) before putting it on the basket. There is then only one way it will pop onto the basket. These are much better stud rollers than the original eqipment ones. They grip tight and don't slip off.

I removed the face plate (ice/water, selection panel) from the freezer door to access and remove the solenoid which was badly rusted and replaced with a new one, and a new spring too. Very simple repair for a chronic pain.

First I removed the 8 screws on the interior side of the door that holds the plastic inner-face to the door assembly. This allowed me to easily pry the inner face away from the outer face which exposed the latch assembly.

The broken latch practically fell out making it very easy to work the new one into place.

I replaced the 8 screws, closed the door until I heard it latch and then squeezed the handle and was rewarded with a very satisfying sound and feel as the door popped open without a hitch.

I know a repairman would have cost me a minimum of $75 plus a hefty price for the part.

I removed six screws and unplugged the module and removed.
Replaced by the new module and plugged in and then replaced the six screws.
Very easy to fix.

The repair was fairly simple. I unscrewed all of the screws holding the inside door panel from the outside door panel. I then removed the old (broken) door actuator with the new one, and then screwed everything back together. I used the exploded drawing of the dishwasher from the PartSelect website which helped considerably, and also don't forget to put the spring on the actuator before you install the new one. If your door actuator broke, then you should by the spring that attaches to it, because you have about a 1% chance of finding the new one.
