It snapped into place

Bought a new psrt

Just plugged it in

Bought new cap.

The switch fix but did not fix the problem. I assumed the wires go on the same way as on the old switch. Is it possible if one light Burns out, the other will not work either?

first of all,i just want to thank parts select for sending me a second ice maker at no charge.after installing the first one and it didn't work,i talked with Heather and she sent me a new one.installation went the same as before.hardest part is getting the quick connect wire harness apart and the ice fill arm .it is working great and my home is happy.thank you!

Googled how to replace door gaskets and watched a video and did what it said and was so easy. took longer to remove everything and the shelves and storage bins and wash down the refrigerator than replace the door gaskets.

Since it wasn't possible to squeeze the seal in between the door groove and the bar which closes the gap between the two doors, I cut the seal side in half and snaked it in from the top and the bottom. Since the cut is behind the bar when the door is closed there is no compromise in getting a good seal around the door. Note there was no apparent way to easily remove this bar.

Can not do repair. Ordered part 3/30 due to me on 4/1. Today is 4/15 and still no part. I even paid for quicker delivery. Thanks FedEx!!

We removed the old switch, unplugged it, plugged the new one in and it was easy to do. But when we tried to put the switch back in we had a very hard time doing it. Eventually got it in, but if it had not been for the difficulty we had getting the new switch to snap in to place, it would have taken under 5 minutes.

Unplug refrigerator. Lift and remove cup tray, exposing the two screws. Remove both. Gently pry the plastic bezel/cover from the door facing. Remove the three screws securing the black dispenser/circuit board assembly. Carefully disconnect the three cables from the circuit board (remember how they were routed). Being careful not to lose the spring clip, remove the defective actuator. Place the spring clip on the new actuator post and reattach actuator to the black housing making sure to hook the rear spring clip hook into the hole behind it. Using pliers, pull the front spring clip hook up so that it catches on the assembly post. While the dispenser assembly is off, good time to clean up any dirt, grime, etc from the assembly and door facing. Replace the assembly by reconnecting the three cables and using the three screws. Carefully snap bezel/cover in place and secure with the two screws. Replace cup tray.

The new door just popped into place. Took seconds to complete. Fast delivery too.

stick the very small screw driver in the hole on the left side cover and lift up to release the keeper tab,pull out to expose the wire connecter.insert the small screw driver in the slot on the left side to release the tab while pulling apart the two connectors.tuck the wires tight to side and pull out the ice maker.I thought I was getting the whole ice maker assembly,but just got a part of it,so I had take it apart and put it back together.the hardest thing to change over was the stop lever arm that senses the level of ice in the bin.after all this,it didn't work at all.not happy around here.back to filling ice trays

I safely unplugged the power from the refrigerator first before starting the repair. I then had to remove the bottom access panel which is secured with hex head screws, then disconnected the two plugs from the two failed parts that connects to the appliance compressor. After installing the replacement parts and returning power back to the refrigerator I buttoned up the access panel and I waited at least three hours to turn the cooling system back on. This allows the coolant in the compressor to settle. The two replacements parts fixed the cooling system.
