Removed all of the food from the door by lifting the shelves out. Unbolted the top door hinge, and lifted the door off. Replaced the cam and placed the door back on, re-bolted the top hinge and placed all of the food and shelving back into the door. The door closes and seals when it is shut.

Popped out the old, popped in the new. . . Good to go in about 30 seconds. . . . Felt cheated it was so easy. Problem solved.

I removed old end caps from refrigerator door shelves and removed existing shelve brackets from end caps. Then I put new end caps on existing brackets and snapped them into place.

1, Removed heavy items from door bottom two shelves.
2. With door closed, prop up door with 2x4 boards and wood shim to support door weight.
3. With nut driver, wrench or socket wrench remove lower door hindge.
4. Removed worn plastic door cams and shim.
5. Install new door cams and shim.
6. Install lower door hindge and lubricate cams with silicone grease.
7. Remove wood bracing.

All I had to do was remove the screws at the top of the refrigerator door that hold the top hinge and once that was done I lifted up on the door and it came off. I then flipped the door upside down and was able to replace the door cam on the door and the other cam on the bottom hinge of the refrigerator. Once replaced, I put the door back on and put the screws back in on the top hinge of the refrigerator door. Works great now!

Went online with the model number, the part was very easy to find, diagrams helped me to have confidence in the choice. Parts came in two days, tore them open and used a screw driver to replace the broken shelf brackets, replaced shelves, I am a happy camper!!

Turn off power .Remove the control knobs and pry off the front panel ,it just snaps on,Take out two screws holding the control panel Take out the two screws holding the control to the base of the panel to get at the two screws holding the control to the bracket. Ther are screws holding the covers over the thermostat tube. Then pull out the tubbe and remove the plastic cover on the old control and place it on the new control tube. Then route the new tube into the snaps be careful to not make ant sharp bends in tubing.When that is done fasten the control to the bracket and fasten the bracket to the panel.Replace covers over tube to hide it and keep from damaging it when putting things in fridge.. Mount the conrol bracket back to the fridge and replace snap on cover. Plug in electric.

Well the actual repair took just as long to find Partselect online, plug my model# in, find the parts and wait until they came by mail! The bad part was the cleaning of the refridgerator which was in a home that my boyfriend & I bought which had mice running through it! They chewed the crisper drawer and the other drawer was cracked in half. I would definitely come back to your site for any appliance parts in the future! First, after re-reading your descriptions here on your site ( it took clues from each of them) I unplugged the refrigerator and began on the only day my husband was out of town. The two selector knobs came off easily fingers only. The plate came off with only a slight prying with a screwdriver (it is intended to snap off this way). Loosening the screws and removing them in order to remember which order they returned proved to be a challenge. After disassembly, pulling the thermostat out of the tubing and replacing it with the new one without bending it was hard to do also. The refrigerator runs like new, and may run another eleven years! Opening up the Evaporator Fan section was a quick and easy job. After opening, I checked and removed the fan and looked at the grommet. The grommet on the fan was tight and secure and I could no longer hear the noise. I closed the opening. Something I had done while checking the fan grommet must have solved the problem. I have not hear the noise again!
