Ordered the right parts thanks to your list of part numbers and where they were located on the refrigerator. They fit perfect and problem fixed in five minutes. This is the best site I have ever used!

I simply removed 4 screws holding the casing and then 2 more holding the timer. It was very easy. I then replaced the timer by unplugging and plugged the new one in. I replaced all the screws and the job was done. Less than 30 minutes. I was very impressed with the shipping time. When I ordered the part, I had it the next day.

Traced issue to defrost timer ( burned compressor & element contacts). This unit is mounted next to the temperature adjustment control in the refridgerator area - right in front. Removal of plastic cover provided easy access to the timer. Unit unscrews from the mounting then unplugs. Installation is reverse of removal.

Ordered a new defroster timer and replace old one. It works just fine. A $35 repair vs a $500 new appliance.

I slid off old caps, then slid on new caps. I pushed down metal holding clamps and I was finished. The whole process was about 5 minutes. The parts select web site was great. I looked up my parts on the easy to use catalog and ordered them. Make sure you save the broken parts or write down the part numbers to make finding your exact parts easier. I wish all parts web sites were as easy to use as parts select.

I had to cut the retainer bar to length and then snap the end caps onto the bar. Then just snap the assembly onto the freezer. No problem!

Just snaps into notches on each side. Bar arrived bent from shipping. Replacement was overnighted at no extra charge. Great service.

I looked at the model number and ordered it through the part select. The delivery was real fast and convenient. Overal we had a very good experience with "Part Select"

Remove and replace.

I took the broken plastic cap off and put the new one onto the retaining bar. Then snapped the the bar into place. That was it!

Just popped the new piece into place.

Not much placed the 2 ends on the straight bar & put it in place on the refridgerator door dom russo

Popped off the old and slipped on the new. No tools - in less than 5 minutes.

Need to repair refrigerator for new renters. Ordered parts and received them two days later. Installed retainer bar with end caps into refrigerator door same day parts received.
