Freezer would not shut off unless unplugged.
Removed old cold temperature control; tested with ohm meter and determined that the control was bad; ordered new cold control from PartSelect.com. Installed new cold temperature control with no problems; freezer is now running like new again!
p.s. I was very pleased with how fast I received my order from PartSelect.com!

I opened my freezer and it was warm, thawing out my food. When I turned down the thermostat the compressor kicks on for a few seconds, then turns off. Then turns on again about 30 seconds later, and then turns off again... constantly turning on and off rapidly without cooling anything down.

Hello Scott, thank you for writing. For this symptom you will want to consider either the Evaporator Fan Motor part PS2349477 or the Defrost Heater part PS426768 for your model. There is no Temperature Control Thermostat listed for the model. We hope this helps.
