Just like new!
The part arrived when promised and fit perfectly. Had a bit of an issue finding installation instructions for the Bosch dishwasher online but once found the installation was straightforward. Very happy with the partselect service and the end result.

Cracked panel-facia covering the controls
First of all, wait till the replacement panel-facia arrives before removing the broken one. Look at the part. It has holes for switches, and It has two prongs that snap into slots in the metal front of the dishwasher. The panel-facia covers the electronic control contacts of the dishwasher, which are activated by plastic switches (or buttons) set in rocker positions in the panel-facia. These are the On/Off, Power Scrub Plus, etc. The switches/buttons come off easily once you've removed the panel. Take care not to break these as you remove the old panel, because you'll need to put them in their respective positions in the new panel. The replacement part does not include switch/buttons. Now it's time to remove the broken panel. Open the dishwasher door and you'll see four screws at the top of the door (disregard those down the sides of the door; these hold the front panel to the machine, but do not need to come off.) Take out the four screws. The panel-facia has two plastic prongs that click into position on the front of the dishwasher, and clasp it in place. The screws you removed then secure the panel in place. To get the broken panel off, you need to pry gently but steadily at the two locations of the prongs, and you may have to break them. That's no problem, but do not damage the switch/buttons. Once the panel-facia is off, set each switch/button in its position, then align the prongs with the slots in the metal face of the machine, and snap it into place. Replace the four screws you removed previously. That's it.
