Sensor repair
The repair went well. I have been repairing my own appliances for many years. I have been married for 61.5 years and have always done my own repairs. Nothing complicated about that little sensor replacement and the oven seems to be as good as new. Thank you.

the oven was overheating and based on gas fitter suggestion, I just replaced the circuit board but it's still overheating. Could it be a faulty temperature sensor? If so, will I need to attach a new sensor directly to the circuit board?
For model number HDI7052C
Hello Janet, Thank you for your inquiry. You can test the sensor with a multimeter to see if it is the issue. If you are unfamiliar with how a multimeter functions, we have videos available to assist you. To install the new sensor, remove the rear panel and disconnect the red connector on the sensor wire. Then go to the inside of the oven and remove the two screws and take out the sensor. Put in the new sensor, rethread the screws and plug the sensor back in at the back of the stove, then you can replace the rear panel. Good luck with your repair.
