I have replaced the defrost timer, control temperature thermostat, defrost thermostat and run capacitor and now I'm wondering how do I get part number 30, the white plastic part in the compressor repair kit, just number 30 because all the other parts are new. The refrigerator is colder but the freezer will not get cold enough to make ice? Does the defrost heater have anything to do with it?
For model number FRT21S6AW5
Hi Tammy,
Thank you for your question. Part number 30 in the diagram is the start relay kit. We are able to provide you with the part and the part number for it is PS8689662. If the freezer is still not cold enough, you will need to check the evaporator fan motor to see if that is working correctly. The defrost heater keeps the cooling coils from frosting over. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!
