Sensor ebd60925804 was found by sears to be defective in our two year old fridge (along with the main board). I'm curious to know whether this sensor can be easily replaced by this reasonably handy owner. (the board, if we choose to replace it) seems pretty simple to replace.)
For model number 795.79029.312
Hi Greg, the sensor is a not too difficult to replace but not for a complete beginner. You will need wire strippers and some electrical know how. There are videos you can watch online on how to replace this part. We a video here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a1Z_oOMFXGk . This will show you a similar part I would watch the video as it should be a similar process. Thank you for your question and good luck with your repair!

Hello Ted, thank you for writing. It may be the Freezer Evaporator Fan Assembly. The evaporator fan motor draws air over the evaporator coils and circulates it throughout the freezer. If the evaporator fan motor is not working, the freezer will not cool. I hope this helps.
