Very expensive, but worked perfectly
Arrived quickly, worked perfectly. Very expensive for a tiny piece of plastic, but not worked.

Simple repair
The replacement part looked slightly different than the original because they'd improved the design over time. A very simple repair to do, especially with the videos online now.

Perfect
The cost is ridiculous for a small plastic part, but it was exactly what I needed. They even included 2 of the little nubs (the smallest of the three parts in the image). This is appreciated, because in my experience, that is the part that fails and requires replacement.

A success that was almost a disaster
Of course I dropped the smallest piece on the first try and it disappeared at the bottom of the dishwasher.... I thought I would have to reorder the whole thing! Hahaha thank you for the link to the video, that was helpful, could you also suggest putting a dish towel at the bottom and if a little part does go missing anyway, that a stick with some plasticine will be useful in retrieving the little piece?... I also received the replacement part the day after I placed the order, I was very impressed by your service, thank you Ghis

Old spinner fell after washing the dishes.
Carefully unscrewed the top screw holding the spray arm so it doesn't fall into the tub.
Pull down the arm gently and pop out any remaining parts from the old spinner.
While the spray arm is pulled down, snap the two parts of the spinner together: one from above the spray arm, and one from below the spray arm. (you need to snap them together before you screw the spray arm back, because it won't snap together otherwise.)
Rescrew the spray arm and you are done.

The overhead water spinner became detached and fell off
First I removed the screw from the top water tube and then the upper screw from the vertical water tube at the back of the dishwasher. That gave enough flex to the tube assembly for access to the area I needed to get to, without having to remove it. Then I removed the old spinner retainer and installed the new one. I then snapped the spinner to the new retainer pin, put the tube back into position, and re-installed the screws -- and I was done.

Third level spinner fell off
The part snaps on using two plastic retainers (included). You have to pull down gently on the feed tube at the top of the dishwasher to set the top retainer. After that it's a piece of cake.

Upper wash spinner fell off
It honestly took more time to take the dishwasher baskets out than the actual repair. Once the baskets were out, I put a piece of newspaper over the lower drain in case I dropped a part or the screw. I removed the top screw to access the broken part, removed it, and installed the new spinner. I put the screw back in and 2 minutes later, the dishwasher was in use once again.
Too easy!

top water spinner fell off
Using past posts, this easy fix only required to bend down the plastic water ducting at the top of the dishwasher, and snap in the upper button to the lower button, which holds the spinner. I put newspaper down on the bootm of the dishwasher, in case I dropped the small plastic pieces.

Upper spinner broke, also pivot for bottom rack broke in half.
I hooked the pivot on the rack, poof!! Done. I put the spinner pieces together, (they don't need any tools) then I just snapped them in the upper "hole" where they belong and voila!! Done.

My spinner fell off and I need to replace it. Does the 3rd level wash spinner kit have everything i need, or do I also need the screw 3400850 (part # 11 on the upper wash & rinse parts diagram)?
For model number gu1200xtkq0
Hello Beverly,
Thank you for your question.
The 3rd level wash spinner kit does include everything you need to replace the spinner. The screw is used to hold the spray tower in place.
I hope this helps!

Thank you for your prompt answer, but it was a little unclear. You said the leak could be affecting the pressure and preventing this part from spinning, but the part is not spinning because it fell off along with the pin that holds it. I do not see any other cause of the leaking and still wonder if i replace the spin kit, will it fix the leak. Thank you.
For model number 66517379301
Hello Tom, thank you for your question. The water may be coming from the to of the unit straight out towards the door, which can cause some leaking water. If you haven't noticed any water before this part fell off, it is probably the cause of the leak. I would recommend replacing this part and if the leak continues we can provide some troubleshooting information at that time. I hope this helps!

I found the part inside the dishwasher but not the locking pin. I noticed some water on the floor. Could this part falling off cause the leaking?
For model number 66517379301
Hi Tom, thank you for your question. It could be. It depends on if the leaking is effecting the water flow up to that spinner. If the leaking is effecting the pressure that could be why this part is not spinning. I do imagine that if you figure out what is causing the leaking and if there are no clogs in your tubing and filters, that may fix the issue you are having with this part. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.

Do I have to replace the spinner, if I just need a locking pin? Have spinner and bushing. Thanks
For model number 66517483300
Hello Bill, Thank you for writing. The Pin is only sold as part of the kit so the spinner would need to be ordered. You do not need to replace the spinner but it will come as part of the Kit. We hope this helps!
