washer tub wouldnt spin
removed the front of the washer
removed the "C" clip holding the idler pulley assembly in place.
replaced the broken idler pulley tension spring.
reassembled the idler pulley assembly.
installed a new "V" belt just for good measure (it is after all a 15 yr old washer....)
the hardest part was getting the "C" clip off and back on - but that still took less than 10 min total...

drive belt replacement
removed rear panel, tilted machine forward, removed four bolts holding the pump and loosened the connection to the motor shaft,(several times dropped socket and without magnet to retrieve tools would have been much more difficult),removed two hoses, dropped pump assembly, replaced belt, and reversed the process to re-assemble. Easy to find part and will definitely use your parts finder again. Lots less expensive than repair service or replacement
