Water was leaking from the valve/pump for the icemaker
Remove the screws that hold the old valve to the side of the refrigerator. Next, detach each plastic tube and attach that tube to the same place on the new valve, and repeat (there are many valves). Afterward, I realized that many of the plastic tubes had become brittle and had mineral deposits, so I bought additional tubing for ice makers and replaced each tube, one at a time.

Need directions for replacing in door water feed tube.
For model number FFHS2611LQ1

Hi Laurene, Thank you for your question. First, disconnect power and the water from your machine. Then you will open up both doors. Remove the kickplate from the bottom of the appliance. After removing the kickplate you will see your water line. Put a towel down underneath of it for any excess water. There is a union that connects the two tubes that you will see there. Both tubes are held in with a locking collar. Press down on the collar to remove the tubes. Now you can close your doors. Remove your drip tray. Then remove the screws at the bottom that are holding in your housing. Lift up on the frame of the housing. Then pull the frame out. Do not pull too much. Just enough to get your hand in to disconnect the wire harness from the control board. To do that you just unplug it. Look up underneath your dispenser housing. Use a screw driver or nut wrench to push the water line that you see there up through the opening. Once you have removed that water line, remove the last three screws along the top to remove the rest of the housing. There is a wiring harness on the left hand side. Make sure to unplug that as well. Now that you have your housing out of the way. Carefully pull out the water line. To put the new water tube into your appliance, feed it up through the bottom of your door. Then do these steps in reverse to put your fridge back together. Good luck with your repair.

How do i replace the water tube from the inlet valve to the filter?
For model number FRS3LR5EM0
PartSelect logo
Hi Roy, Thank you for your question. First it looks like this tube is not the correct tube from your water valve to your filter, it may work if you have the correct unions to connect everything though because all of your water dispenser tubing is 5/16". However if you would like, I have listed the correct part your manufacturer shows down below for you. Unfortunately we do not have information on how to install this part specifically however we have a couple of videos that may help you to figure it out: https://youtu.be/uASszxxtE9w and here: https://youtu.be/u069bgnLrKM . I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.

I have a leak in the hose, I see that the tubing is coming from the valve on the back of the fridge by the floor leading out through the wall to the basement, is this the only part I have to change? I am winging it because I have no help .
For model number FGHS2344kf4

Hi Marcia, Thank you for the question. There are a few different areas inside the appliance with tubing that could be leaking. You would really need to investigate to locate what tube needs to be replaces. It is a good idea to check the water filter as well and the filter housing. Hope this helps!

My freezer is leaking on the inside collecting at the bottom of the freezer under the drawer and leaking out on the lower portion of the refrigerator on to the floor is this hose somehow connected to this leak
For model number FFHS2611LBLA

Hello Chateau, thank you for your question. This is actually a water delivery tube for the icemaker. If the water is leaking from the back of the unit where water flows into the icemaker this could be the issue. I would also check the drain tube that runs from the freezer to the drip tray at the back of the unit to be sure there isn't a blockage. I hope this helps!

Ok, I see the tubing is 5/16 d. But how long is it? I am replacing the water supply tubing wrapped around the cabinet floor spindle that cools the drinking water. The old line was damaged in multiple places due to hard freezing (the freeze was no fault of refrigerator or freezer). There was about 60 or 70 feet of tubing wrapped around the spindle, so I need about 60 feet of tubing to replace the damaged tube.

Is this the supply line, within the refrigerator, that will supply the water dispenser and ice maker?
For model number Frs6r5esb4

Hi Robert, Thank you for the question. Yes this is the tube that feeds the ice maker and the water dispenser. If you are replacing both you will need to order two of these tubes. Good luck with the repair!

Water dispenser works but water to ice maker don,t
For model number frs6lr5eb3
PartSelect logo
Hello Frank, thank you for your question. The first step would be to test the valve that sends water to the icemaker to be sure that its functioning properly. Here is a link that will tell you how to do that. https://www.partselect.com/Refrigerator+test-water-valve+repair.htm. If the valve is ok and there is no ice clogging the water tube that runs to the icemaker, the icemaker should be replaced. I hope this helps!
