Perfect service. Perfect fit
Got what I needed with some guidance from a customer service rep. It was a lovely experience. No more turning the dryer on with a wrench.

It fit.
The old handle broke. Nothing wrong with the new part, just a lower rating for how much it cost.

The old knob broke.
Make sure the sleeve from the old knob is not on the metal post which it is installed. Provided the old metal sleeve is not on the post, just slide the new knob on.

The knob split by the shaft. Quick and easy I ordered the exact part from Part-Select, it in 2 days and pushed on the new knob with my fingers.
It was quite easy thanks to Part-Select. You can be sure I will use them again!

Main knob broke off dryer
Took 2 seconds and no tools. Just slid new knob on. Unfortunately, I didn't order the correct knob but it still works. That was my mistake. I received the knob the day after I ordered it. I was impressed with the speed. After a few weeks of using a pliers to start my dryer, I was really glad I finally replaced the knob! Not sure what took me so long as it couldn't have been easier to do. Very happy with partselect's selections and promptness.

first load for the day worked fine however second would not start when turned the start knob. just makes a humming noise
For model number FEQ332CES0
Hi Brett,
Thank you for your question. If your dryer makes a humming or buzzing sound when you try to start it, open the door and turn the drum by hand. If it starts to turn on its own, the problem is with the motor. If the area around the motor is dirty, use some compressed air to clear the area around it. If the drum will not turn, there may be an issue with the drum glides and the belt. You will need to inspect these parts for signs of damage or wear. Also, check the blower wheel to see if anything may be inside it. Once you have determined the part causing the issue, please feel free to call customer service. We are open 7 days a week and anyone will be happy to assist you. We look forward to hearing from you!
