Sorry, we couldn't find any existing installation instruction that matched.
I was trying to remove the oven door so I could clean the glass. Spills had run down between the layers of glass.
This oven probably was manufactured in the '60s when the house was built. The door doesn't just pull off like the newer models. These pins fit into small holes on the oven hinges. I inserted the pins and lifted the door to a 45 degree angle, before pulling the door completely off. Now that turned out to be the easy part. I then proceeded to completely dismantle the door. It actually has 4 glass layers which had to be cleaned individually. The hardest part of all was actually remembering how to put it back together again. I put the door back on just as I had removed it, then took out the pins, and I was finally done! This was not an easy project, BUT the results look great.

The side trim on the glass door needed to be replaced.
After we put the latch pins in, the door was easily lifted off. We placed the door on the table and unscrewed the trim pieces. The new trim pieces went into place after we cleaned the door. We slipped the door back on the oven and removed the hinge pins.

I fell on the door and now it won't close. I also cannot lift the door off. Can this be repaired?
For model number RF361PXQ
Hello Beverley, thank you for your question. The hinges are probably bent too far back and need to be replaced. You will want to order the hinges, part number WP8053807. This hinge can be used on either side of the door. To remove the door you will need to remove the oven door by flipping the stoppers on the hinges up and pulling the oven door straight out. Hopefully the door hinges are not bent enough that the door will be able to be removed. I hope this helps!

How do you take the door off of the oven to work on putting parts around the glass? My husband took the door apart so we could clean between the glass and now we cannot figure how to put it back together with the door still on the stove?
For model number GR470LXMP0
Hello Linda,
Thanks for your question. Unplug the range. You will need to remove the oven door by flipping the stoppers on the hinges up and pulling the oven door straight out. From there, unscrew the door trim to take it apart. To install it again, line the door up with the hinges and press the stoppers on the hinges down to secure it.
I hope this helps.
