How do I replace the dryer door catch once I receive the replacement part? I cannot find a video specific to this model of dryer. There are no screws to remove the catch. Do I pry it out?
For model number DLG1102W
Hello Loretta,
Thanks for your question. Unplug the machine. Open the door and remove it from its hinges. Remove all the other screws on the door. Take the door halves apart and you will see the catch. Squeeze the tabs together with pliers and release the tabs on the top and bottom of the latch to pull it out of the hole. Simply press the new catch in and lock it into place.
I hope this helps.
