Thank you for your response, would the fan stop working at any time or does it run continually. It stopped working the freezer reads -18c but there is no ice on the coils. THe control board does not go up or down it always reads -18 so I dont know if it is the board or the thermoset? would this pin point the issue better can I speak to someone to ask more qusetions I dont want to be a pain on emailing back and forth. Hi Maria, thank you again for reaching out. You may check the temperature sensor, part number PS1527511, for continuity to find the faulty part. To check the sensor, you may follow the instructions below:
1- You may use either a digital or analog multimeter to test the sensor for continuity.
2- If you are using an analog multimeter, rotate the selection dial to the lowest setting for ohms of resistance and calibrate the meter by pinching the leads together while adjusting the needle to read zero.
3- When using a digital model, again rotate the dial to the lowest setting for ohms of resistance.
4- Connect the black meter lead to one of the terminals of the switch and the red lead to the other terminal.
5- If the meter shows around 5000 ohms of resistance, at room temperature, the sensor has continuity.
6- If the needle does not move or the display does not change significantly, the sensor has no continuity and you may need to replace it.
7- If the sensor is functioning properly, then you may need to replace the control board, part number PS3490554.

My fridge goes crazy and start to make a beeping sound out of nothing. Also it shows the "hi temp" while it still feels really cold. What could it be?

Light goes off in fridge, not working. Close the door, a little while later, it beeps like the power came on and, voila! The light's back on and it's working like nothing happened. This occurs a couple of times a day.
