Make sure you put everything back in the order you took them out.
I had to back-track acouple of times because I put the shelf brackets back in before I had the back panel in.It was also alittle tight getting the thermostat snapped back on the refrigerant line because it is a tight space and I have big hands. For a first timer who has had minimal experiance it wasn't too tough.

Freezer section drips water from middle of back wall of freezer and accumulates on bottom of freezer that turn to ice. Looks like a frozen waterfall I have to chop it out once a week so that it does not spill over on the floors outside the freezer door. I thought I would need the heater part but I think I need the the fan part that is no longer available. What say you? Thanks for any advice
For model number TPS24BPDABS
Hi Robert, Thank you for the question. If the fan is still running you will not need to replace it. You can also try to clean the fan blades and vacuum the coils on the back of the appliance. You can test the Defrost Thermostat as well. The best way to do this is to remove the Thermostat from the refrigerator so you can control the temperature of the sensor. You can let the sensor warm up to room temperature. With the sensor warmed up to room temperature the sensor should read approximately 6.2K Ohms at 68°F. With the thermistor submerged is a glass full of ice water, the sensor should be very close to 32°F which should read approximately 16.3K Ohms. If the values that you are getting are far off from these readings, then the sensor is bad and should be replaced. Hope this helps!
