This part is located behind the control panel. It helps determine the level of water in the washer. As the water fills the hose, while tub is filling, it will push the air against a diaphragm inside the switch. More water that enters the tub, more pressure is applied against the switch.

water coming out of bottom of washing machine
was a toss up between the water inlet valve OR the hose pressure switch....why spend more time...I invested in both the water inlet valve and the hose pressure switch and replaced them both....I have the machine torn apart....I spend $45 more dollars...now it's ALL done....and works like a charm...if I were to isolate the problem...I would say, now, the hose pressure switch...but, I am happy and machine probably has 5 plus, more years left...and life is good.
water not shutting off when filling tub and over flowing
First figured out tool to use to remove outer covering on control area. Then unplugged units from electric wiring and replugged with new parts. Parts arrived in a very short time was very pleasantly surprised with the short turn around on ordering and recieving parts.
Fold back control panel, pull water level knob off, and unlatch pressure switch. reverse procedure to install new switch.

Washer overfilled without shutting off
The actual problem after getting into it was my pressure sensor line that comes off the wash tube was clogged with soap and dirt from years of use. I changed the listed parts as a precaution but make sure you check the line where it meets up at the washer tub not at the switch side. The front of the washer pulls off

Water don't shut off just keeps filling washer
For model number WJRR417OG1WW
Hello Kevin, thank you for your question. Try unplugging the unit when the water is filling the tub. If the valve shuts off and water stops the valve is NOT the issue and you should test or replace the water level pressure switch. If the water continues, replace the valve. I hope this helps!

Water running out from drain hose when water is filling. How to repair this problem.
Hi Munkhorgil,
Thank you for your question. It sounds like the clamps that keep the drain hose in place are not secure and are causing the water to leak out. There is a video on our website that you can reference regarding a drain hose clip. The washing machine may not show exactly like the one you have, but it will give you a general idea on how to install the part. You will find the video under part number PS270508. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!
