Old element went out. Bought this one from you guys. Switched it out easy enough but, it heats up extremely high within 10 seconds then shuts off. Just the element not the motor shuts off. Vents were recently cleaned. Any thoughts on what could be going on?

Hello Thomas, Thank you for the question. I suggest testing the High Limit Safety Thermostat, PartSelect Number PS268202. This hi-limit thermostat acts as a safety mechanism that keeps the dryer from overheating. If there is no continuity then the part has failed and will need to be replaced. Hope this helps!
