Grinding noise when washer cycles to the drain
Very supprised and the quick delivery. Ordered it the afternoon and received the very next day.
Disconnect the power and the water supply. The drain line was plenty long enough. Pulled the dishwasher out of the cabinet and turned on its side. Lousened the two hose clamps holding the pump in place. Removed the two screws holding the pump to the housing and the electrcal connections to the old pump. Cleaned the internal parts of the hose connections for the placement of the new pupmp and installed. Connected the pump to the housing of the dishwasher and fastened the electrical connections to the body of athe new pump. Placed the dishwasher into the cabinet and connected the main power and connected the water supply. Turned on the power and ran thru a cycle. LIKE NEW.
Thank you for your help. Fred

Washer doesn't drain. Flapper valve is good. How many ohms should the drain pump read?
For model number PDW7800G00WW
Hi Ron, Thank you for the question. The ohms should be between 5 ohms to 10 ohms. A reading of zero or infinity, means the pump requires replacement. Hope this helps!

I removed the electrical connections from my old drain pump, but I did not note which wire (red single wire or white double wire) plugs into which terminal on the new pump ("l" or "i"). Can you advise, please?
For model number ZBD6880K03SS
Hello David, Thank you for the question. The Double White wire goes to the L and the Red goes to the N. We hope this helps.

Hello. My dishwasher is not draining completely. It has approximately 1 inch of water after each cycle. I have already removed the filter and cleared it. Also checked the check valve, took apart the pump, confirmed that there's no blockage to the sink. I could not find any type of other issue.Question is : next step I think is the drain pump. How do I verify that the drain pump is bad? It runs because I can feel water coming through the disposal, but perhaps it's not running enough? It empties, but not all the way
Thank you
For model number PDW7880J00SS
Hi Dave,
Thank you for your question, You can also check the Check Valve Flapper. Make sure it is not damaged or warped. This part allows the water to flow in the drain direction only and prevents the dirty water from coming back into the tub.If it is stuck open a bit then some water might come back in. Also the Piston and Nut Assembly, this seems to be a common issue when the part needs to be replaced.
Hope this helps !

My dishwasher is leaking at the bottom. Can you help?
For model number GSD6100K03BB
Hello Lyne,
Thanks for your question. You may want to test the water inlet valve and the float switch with a multimeter to test both for continuity. Replace either if they lack continuity.
I hope this helps.

The drain pump motor resistance reading is 25 ohms and the dishwasher is not draining. Replaced this assembly a couple of years ago and it worked well. Has recently seen the issue that the dishwasher doesn't drain (sometimes it does, but mostly it doesn't).
For model number PDW7880J00SS
