Door Gasket
Part received in timely fashion. Gasket was short by 6" had to use part of old gasket. Install took just over an hour with no problems. Oven now retaining correct temperature. Contact with the door gasket manufacturer regarding length would rectify the problem. Marie Wood.

Door gasket broken up
It took considerable time to remove the door and take it completely apart so the gasket could be inserted, and time again to reassemble properly. The gasket (though the no. was confirmed before ordering) was 3" too short so I had to cut some off the old gasket to make do (not entirely effectively).

gasket door replace
the instructions given for this part were not 100 % accurate, our oven door required multiple, dis assembly and was unable to complete the task, local handy men refused to come to assist since the job was already started, it appears I will now need to buy a new oven , I was disapointed in the help because had we known we had the more diffcilult oven, would not have attempted, I did give the correct model and serial number to the person when discussing this part

Received part number wb4k1 which shipped as correct oven door gasket on your website however no pins came with this product. How do we replace the gasket then?
For model number JGBP88BEK1BB
Hi Janet,
Thank you for your question. We actually had another customer ask the same question. Here is how you install this part: "To replace the door gasket you will need to remove the door from the oven as the gasket is in a lip or grove that is between the inner and outer door panels. To remove the oven door you will need to open the door to the broil stop and place your hands on either side of the door. Lift the door off the hinges. Do not try to lift the door with the handle or you will break the handle. Mark the location of the ends of the gasket so you can put the new gasket in the same location as the old. Remove the screws from the oven door and lift the inner panel off the door. You can now replace the door gasket. " Good luck with your repair.
