A local technician diagnosed my problem as a faulty control board.
I followed the PartSelect video instructions for board removal and reinstallation of the new board. Even though I took a picture of the old board connections, I didn't need it. The video instructions were very clear, detailed and accurate.

I am receiving an error code of E90. I am assuming it is the Green circuit board. If not, what could it be and what part would i need?
For model number LTF2940ES3
Hi Sherry,
Thank you for your question. The E90 error code just means that there has been a miscommunication between the two boards in your appliance. Unfortunately it does not say what the problem might be. It could be that this code is showing up because there was a power glitch. Unplugging your appliance for 5 minutes and plugging it back in may fix the issue. If your error code persists, it could be either one of your boards that is the issue. You may need to get a technician in to service your appliance. Good luck with your repair.

I'd like to make sure this is the part I need, maybe you can assist. My machine is "skipping" the spin cycle, it gets anywhere from 10 minutes to 7 minutes left, will begin the slower rotations, then in a split second count to 0 and end cycle. Meanwhile the clothes are still sopping wet. On older mechanical models, I'd replace the timer.

Hi Matthew, Thank you for the question. This woudl still be a timer issue but the time is part of the control board so the board will need to be replaced. Hope this helps!

The control panel lights randomly turn on and flash when the machine is idle. My wife says occasionally it will flash ERR on the display. It operates normally otherwise. I suspect the control board. What do you think?
It's been a fantastic washing machine and I'd like to keep it running. Thanks for your help.
For model number GLTF2940FS1
Hello William, thank you for reaching out. According to our research, the ERR is not a fault error. Pressing any button during operation of the cycle will produce flashing indicator lights or beeping with Err displayed. We hope this information helps!

If the door want lock could the control board be bad if so what should we do
For model number GLTF2940ESO
Hi Tony,
Thank you for your inquiry. If your door is not locking there are some parts that you will need to check to see which one is causing the issue. You will need to check the door strike, the door lock and switch assembly and the door hinge. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!
