Does this part shut off the ice when it's full of ice? I can't see anything that shuts off the ice when it's full. It just keeps running till i have to empty the bin and then it fills back up again.
For model number PFSS6PKXESS
Hi James,
Thank you for your inquiry. If your ice maker continues to make ice when the ice bin is full, then bail arm on the ice maker is not in the correct position. You will need to make sure that the the front of it is in the hole on the back of the ice maker head. If this does not work you will need to replace the ice maker. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

My freezer will not freeze, though the temperature on the door says -4 degrees. I think i need to replace this part. Would this part also affect the ice maker above? The ice maker has also stopped working.
Hi Jeremiah,
Thank you for your question. This would be the first part that I would suggest checking yes. It could effect your ice maker if your ice maker is not making ice cubes that are cold enough to trigger the ice maker into making more. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.

Watching a youtube on repair, it looks like part 125, actual cube maker is replaced. It has been making a grind pop sound for awhile and never has bad an abundance of ice cubes. What part do i need?
For model number PFSS6PKXCSS
Hello Audette, Thank you for your inquiry. We would recommend checking the following parts to fix your issue: water inlet valve, auger motor assembly, water filter, the ice maker assembly, and check for any ice in the line. Hope this helps!
