Waste of money and time, but read the review.
First of all, parts select sent me the wrong part. They tried to tell me that I ordered the wrong part. That is pretty hard if you order off their diagram. It took some effort to get them to send me a pre paid return print out. I was also told that I wouldn't have to pay for the shipping cost to send the correct size to me. That didn't happen. I can live with that. I just wanted the 6 inch element. I was told it would arrive with in 5 business days. I didn't think that would happen since the incorrect element took 3 weeks. I was right. It took about 10 business days. I can live with that. I just wanted the 6 inch element. Finally it arrived, I installed it within 30 minutes. Turned my stove on and nothing happened. All this time the radiant element was not the problem! My fault for assuming the element was the problem. So now I have a 6 inch radiant element that I didn't need and I am out $100.00. (Can't send it back because I had to drill holes in it so I could attach the clamps.) I am going to purchase the surface burner switch. I hope that this is the correct part that will make my radiant element work again. And yes, I will purchase it from parts select.

All of the top elements werer burned out except for the 11 inch
Looked up the OEM part numbers and obtained the correct parts. Learning from past mistakes I took pictures of the wiring for each element so I didn't have to depend on my almost 70 year old memory. Installation was actually easier than I thought. The hardest part was getting the stupid springs that hold the elements in place reinstalled. GE...there's got to be a better way!

The large burner turns on and gets hot and after a minute it turns off. What is wrong with it? Thanks
For model number JB630DF4WW
Hello Fikret,
Thanks for your question. You may want to test the element switch along with the temperature sensor and the element itself. Use a multimeter to see if these parts have continuity and replace them if they do not show continuity.
I hope this helps.
