How do you reinsert rod supporting cook top

My girlfriend was cleaning under the GE stovetop and removed the rod supports to clean them and does not remember how they go back please please help

Hi Barry,
Thank you for your question. You will have to remove the support bracket from underneath your cooktop so that you can slot this part back in. From what the diagram is showing me, the larger hooked end goes toward the front of the cooktop. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.
