Product Description
GASKET-CAVITY, 30, BLK Specifications
This part is the replacement door gasket for your oven. It is made of gray rubber and is sold individually. The door gasket runs along the circumference of the oven door and creates a seal that insulates the oven and keeps heat in. If your oven will not heat up properly, or if you notice that the door gasket has become loose or worn, it may need to be replaced. To replace the door gasket, you will need to remove the retaining bracket at the bottom of the oven door, then carefully pull the gasket away from the front of the oven cavity. Then, push the new gasket inside the groove on the outside of the oven cavity, securing it with the arrowhead fasteners that are built in to the oven cavity. This is an OEM part from the manufacturer.

Easy to replace and better seal
With all the years cleaning my 15 year old oven, the seal became fray. The replacement part was not expensive at all, and arrived quickly (excellent tracking). One screw to release the bracket, pull out the old and in with the new. I think it improved the oven seal so better baking efficiency - but cannot prove it. My oven looks and functions like new !!

Original oven gasket had discolored and deteriated, mainly due to use of oven cleaner.
I removed the bottom gasket retainer , single screw, with a screwdriver. The old gasket just pulls away. I cleaned the area under the old gasket with soap and water. I installed the new gasket whcih easily slips in place with the already installed retainer wires into the pre drilled holes.
Viola. Lokks like new.

oven door gasket seal worn
Open oven dooor. With a philip screw driver remove the gasket plate at the bottom of the oven holding the seal gasket. pull seal gasket away from oven seal channel and clean surface before installing new seal. align seal pins to to seal channel holes be sure not to twist the seal insert pins in one at a time.Install lower bracket however you may want to wet the fray ends of the seal gasket prior to screwing in plate to keep the ends from moving away from the bracket when scrwing it in place.

Inner door glass broken
Relatively easy, my Jenn Aire model has a small 1/8 inch (est)hole under each of the door hinge assembly's, I inserted a an allen wrench on each side to hold the hinge. I then semi-closed the oven door, caution do it slowly until you get some resistance. You then pull upward on the door, caution it is heavy, you might have to jiggle it a bit. Once you have the door off you have to remove screws around the cover, the rest is intuitive. We took longer because we cleaned all the components.
