FILTER ASSEMBLY

tried to replace Electrolux dryer filter. ordered filter as per recommendation. replacement filter did work, but was definitely smaller than original. It only lasted a few months before it broke. Now have replaced the replacement. Hope it lasts longer

I ordered a filter assembly and the base into which it fits for my Electrolux dryer. The filter assembly was fine, but the base unit was cracked out of the box. The filter assembly arrived a couple of days late, and the base unit was a couple of days later yet in a separate delivery. I sent a note with pictures to customer service regarding the broken base unit and received no reply. I expected I might receive an apology, or an explanation, or an offer to send a replacement, or an offer of a refund of some sort. I received no response. Finally, I glued the broken piece and installed it anyway. So, my low rating is because I was sent a broken part which took almost a week to arrive, and also because I did not receive a response from your customer service. I do not recommend purchasing from PartSelect.
