My ARM-SHUT was dislodged. How does it fit back into the front of the ice maker? It doesn't seem as easy as pushing it in? The ice maker wont stop making ice
For model number KRFC302ESS00
Hello Paul, Thank you for the question. The Control Motor for the Ice Maker will need to be removed to install the Arm. We hope this helps!

I seem to have the same issue as others. The arm gets dislodged when the ice is made...usually when the ice fills to the top. It doesn't seem to get the chance to turn itself off because the arm dislodges and the ice continues to be made. My impression is that it seems that the ice hits the arm and somehow easily pushes it out of both holes. I can put the arm back in and turn the ice machine off but that doesn't help me when I am not there and have guests that need to make ice. I do not expect them to figure out how to get the arm back in both holes and remember to turn it off. Do I need to order a new arm? Your suggestion?
For model number WRS325FDAM04
Hi Vicki, thank you for contacting us. We have researched the model and it seems that the issue might be with the fill cup, part number PS3654761. It contains a hole and a bump that holds the arm up just due to the friction of going over the bump. We would also recommend checking if the tips of the shut-off arm are damaged or not. We hope this sorts out your problem!

The ice maker shut-off arm, Manufacturer #: W11559683, broke off with a small plastic piece still attached to it. I a trying to identify the main plastic part that it dislodged from. Thanks you.
For model number WRV986FDEM01
Hello Edward, Thank you for the question. Depending on what end has broke away, the arm would attach to the Motor housing and the Ice Mold. We hope this helps!
