Dishwasher is not draining.....stopped pumping into the garbage disposal... i took the drain line off garbage disposal and drained water by gravity into shallow pan....what part should i replace to fix the issue?
For model number PDWT380RSS
Hello Rodney, thank you for your question. We would recommend replacing the drain pump. If the water isn't draining at all, and there is no noise when its attempting to drain, the pump should be replaced PartSelect Number: PS2577650. Good luck with your repair!

I installed the new turbidity sensor but the machine keeps turning off mid cycle. When i place an old sensor back but remove the wiring from the sensor, the machine seems to work fine. Does the pathway of insertion of the turbidity sensor matter? there are 4 prongs and a small plastic tab right next to 4 prongs. when i insert the sensor, do the 4 prongs need to be on the top or bottom of the plastic tab?
For model number PDW9980N20SS
Hi Ruben, thank you for your question. No it should not. As long as your are plugging the metal prongs into the right place it is already aligned for you. If you are still having issues with your appliance stopping in the middle of the cycle then you may need to look at your control board being the issue. Good luck with your repair.

My dishwasher works intermittently. I know it’s stopped working because it starts to sporadically beep. Sometimes turning the main breaker off for a few days does the trick but sometimes the dishwasher buttons seem to lock. Wondering if this could be a sensor? Or if it’s kaput.

Hello Jennifer, thank you for writing. You may want to consider either the Interlock Switch part PS1021382 or the Pump and Motor Assembly part PS8756369 for your model. Are there any error codes being displayed?
