HOW DO YOU REMOVE THE BASKET IN FREEZER DOOR TO REPLACE SHAFT
For model number WRF555SDFZ12
Hello Frank, thank you for your inquiry. To remove the freezer basket to replace the shaft, follow the following steps:
1. Remove the freezer door.
2. To remove the drawer stop, insert a small flat-blade screwdriver into the slot and gently start to pry on the locking tab, then grab and pull to remove. Repeat the same on the other side.
3. Now remove the top drawer by sliding it out and lifting it up.
4. To remove the bottom drawer, tilt it up on the front, push it to the back to release the locking tabs, and lift it out.
We hope this helps, good luck with this repair!
