The part showed up within a day or two. Oven was not heating, stove worked fine. Completed continuity test on elements and thermostat & checked main fuses. Reading other people's communication with parts select staff was very helpful as I found similar problems and the staff provided good feedback. Very happy to have our 5 year old oven fixed, thanks

Frigidaire EOC Module
The part was easy to install and exactly what I ordered. FYI The part does not come with a face plate you have to carefully peel it off the old part (with a thin sharp knife) then place it onto the new control board before installation. I am so happy to be baking again!

F10 Code/ Oven Temperature not working
Removed back panels and removed temperature sensor, which was extremely easy, and replaced with new sensor. Only one hex screw holding it in place.
Replacing control board was surprisingly easy as well. Just take a photo of where all the wires connect (only two to unplug) and use a putty knife to remove the touch pad (doesn’t come with new control board). The touch pad was still sticky so it adhered to the new control board with no issues. Then plugged oven back in. Voilà! Oven worked again!

Oven units not working
I Removed the backing and then I removed the 4 screws holding the controller , opening the new one and placing the face plate on it , I then proceeded to place the new one into place . I then removed one wire at a time from old old to new one . Replace the back and turned power on . Really super easy !!!

Oven works fine but the middle number on the oven temp display will not show up so it's hard to tell what temp you are setting the oven at. Example 3- -0 could be 300,310,350,etc.

Have to set temperature higher to get the temperature i want but can also be erratic
For model number CGEF3042KFF
Hi Jeff, thank you for your question. There are a few parts that could cause this issue in your appliance. First I would say test your elements with a multi meter to see if they are working correctly or not. They should be reading between 0 - 50 ohms to be working correctly. The other part you should check would be your oven temperature sensor. That can also be tested with a multi meter and should be reading between 1000 - 1100 ohms. If those three parts are fine however, then the issue may be in your control board. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.

I replaced my bake element due to it blew a hole out of the old one. I replaced it with a new one turned the oven on bake and broil and neither element is working. My question is do I need a new oven control board? When my old bake element blew it arced to the bottom cover that sits over the element.
For model number LGEF3043KFN
Hello Danny, Thank you for the question. When the old element burnt out it could have shorted out the Control Board and caused damage. Unfortunately the board will need to be replaced. Thank you for your inquiry, good luck with this repair!

Our stove has, for the last couple of weeks, bin getting really hot and burning food. I had food in the oven and cooked the first tray just fine then burned the second super fast. Same happened to my wife. Then a week later the stove top got so hot the heat wurped a very heavy stainless steel frying pan when set on 2. What do you think is the cause?
For model number LGEF3033KBF
Hi Travis, Thank you for the question. I suggest testing the oven probe PartSelect Number PS11731755. Testing the temperature sensor probe on your oven is easy. With the sensor at room temperature, measure the resistance between the two prongs at the end of the sensor connector. The resistance of the sensor should read approximately 1080 – 1090 ohms at room temperature. Hope this helps!
