My washing machine displays code f09/e01 which means problem with pump. Pump is not clogged. Sometimes machine will work, ex) 2 loads then won't work again for a while. Don't know why if the pump is indeed the problem. Is it worth while to order this part to replace pump? Is the code display accurate... or could it be the control board? thanks for any helpful information!
For model number WPW10515401
Hello Nancy, thank you for inquiring. The code F09/E01 indicates a problem with either the Drain Pump, the Pressure Switch, or the Electronic Control Board. We will need the model number for your washer to locate the correct replacement parts for it. We look forward to hearing back from you.

I have a washing machine Whirlpool duet. It is 4 1/2 years old. The model number is WFW96HEAC0 and serial number C35150041. Thanks for your reply...what do you recommend? how to narrow it down, if it is the control panel is it worth fixing? Is this something that needs a repair person to do? As I mentioned, it will randomly drain and work but then it will not and just clicks sensing the door locking/unlocking sensing then code F09/E01. Or if I pause it then turns it off sometimes it will drain and work for the next cycle...but no guarantees. So which parts and what is price? Thank you!!

Hi Nancy,
Thank you for your question. As mentioned in our previous answer to you, you will need the drain pump, part number PS11755869, the water level or pressure switch, part number PS11754877, and the electronic control board, part number PS11757200. You will need to test the parts with a multimeter to see which one is causing the issue. Here is a link to one of our videos on YouTube that you may reference on how to use one, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bWC44fHn0As. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!
