Proper size belt for our Kenmore Washing machine
Exact size needed for fast spin cycle to properly remove most of moisture after wash cycle. Belt had stretched a couple of inches over 20 years. Now working like new! Bit of struggle to get new belt on drum. Now don't need the dryer cycle running as long. A plus!

Good part fit well
The machine was apart for other repairs, the belt was a precautionary measure that we thought needed to be done on a 16 year old machine.

Easy Repair
Great as all ways. The part, I ordered, unfortunately wasn’t the fix. I called a repair place and they told me to go out and buy a new appliance. Part Select has never let me down, when it comes to repairing stuff. Obsoletely a great company to deal with. Thanks again.

Dont Be Afraid
The part was as describe and as usual PartSelect was bang on. This is a simple repair that requires little mechanical aptitude and a little leverage. 1. Unplug, 2. Remove the hex head metal screws and 4 oblong plastic caps from the back panel and remove panel. (Optional to unscrew and remove hot and cold water hose lines) 3.Remove the one crossmember support as it will be in your way. 4. Grab belt with right hand and gently pull towards you while turning large pully counter clockwise. Because your existing belt will be stretched it should remove fairly easy if the belt is in fact your problem. 5. Some reviews and YouTube video recommend removing the large pully. That is your choice at this point, however it is not necessary. You can align the grooves in the small serpentine pully on the motor and the belt at this time and with slight pressure applied work it to the edge and on the large pully. 6. Help may be required at this stage. But you can take a short 2 X 4 and pry down gently on the drum and work the belt back around and on the pully. 7. Turn the large pully/drum around by hand several times to ensure it is seated and aligned. 8. Plug in and ensure safe distance and no children or pets present and test run with back off. Not a good idea to reinstall step 3 and 2 reverse and have the belt dislodge. 9. After test run, visual check and reinstall in reverse order steps 3 and 2. Don't be afraid to try this fix.

Washer made loud banging noise during spin cycle
I first removed the back panel held on by about 10 screws. I removed the drive belt from the pulley, then removed the lock nut securing the pulley to the drum & removed the pulley. Attached the new pulley to the drum, tightened on the lock nut, attached the new belt & ran a spin cycle. When that went OK I replaced the back panel & the washer was back in service.

would not spin of agitate
I first had to take off the back and the top to get to the pulley and the belt. The pulley had woobled so much that it had worn out the center nad it would no longer hold to the post in the tub. It also had cut into the back of the tub about a 1/4 to 1/2 inch. I unscrewed the nut holding the pulley and removed it. I then took a knife and trimmed the rough edges off the back of the tub to make it smooth. I then smoothed out the end of the post that the pulley fits on so the new pulley would fit. I tightned the nut and put the belt on the motor drive shaft and Used a robo grip to hold the belt as I turned it onto the pulley. I but the back and top back on and that was it.

My machine makes a loud of noise when it is spinning. Is this normal? It has done for a long time ( two years ) and nothing has broken yet. The machine had a previous owner. It was in the house when i bought it. Thanks for your answer.
For model number WFW9750WW01
Hi Manuel,
Thank you for your inquiry. There are some parts that you will need to check to see which one is causing the issue. You will need to check the drain pump, the drive belt, the drum drive pulley, the tub gasket, the shock absorbers, the springs, the driver motor and the dispenser actuator switch. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

I ordered belt it does measured as size of 48.22 inches. But it is too short for mount at poly wheel. I don't believe it can possible to expend to 53". I don't know how can solve this problem. Ansheng liu
For model number GHW9100LW
Hi Ansheng, it should expand to stretch to 51.53 inches when installed. If it is not expanding to this size there may be a problem with the part. Thank you for your question and good luck with your repair!
