My dishwasher was hit by a power surge and now the light just blink .I pick the control with the white panel will that be all i need for repair
For model number KUDS301VWH4
Hi Ronald,
Thank you for your question. I would suggest testing your door latch and switches. If they burned out because of your surge the appliance will not register that the door is closed and so no power will go to your control board. If that is not the problem though, it is more likely that it is either your control board itself, or the bimetal fuse that is on your control board. I would suggest testing that fuse as well to double check. Good luck with your repair.

My kitchen aid dishwasher only runs occasionally. Sometimes it starts and runs through entire cycle but most of the time it will not start and has different blinking lights. Will a new control pattern solve this?
For model number Kuds301vwh4
Hi Brent,
Thank you for your question. If your dishwasher is not starting, there are some parts that you will need to check to see which ones are causing the issue. You will need to check the bi-metal fuse, the door switch, the circulation pump and motor, the high limit thermostat, the door handle and the heating element. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!
