Hello Steven and thank you for writing.
We suggest to try a hard reset:
Go to your breaker box and shut the breakers for your unit off, wait 5 minutes and then turn the breaker to on again. That should hopefully clear this problem. We would be happy to do some research to find you the correct parts. However, we need your model number and the brand name to locate any information on this. Model numbers can be short or long and could have a mixture of numbers and letters. We hope this helps. Please contact us anytime if you require further assistance.

F2E1 Error code came up, ordered the control membrane (the part suggested). I installed it and still have the same error code coming up...
For model number KGSS907ss00
Hi Matt,
Thank you for your question. If you have replaced the membrane switch and the F2 E1 error code still comes up, check and make sure that it is connected correctly to the electronic control board. Sometimes a film may buildup on the end of the ribbon cable where the membrane switch attaches to the electronic control board. This film can be removed by using a pencil eraser to gently remove it. If the connections on the membrane switch are fine, then the electronic control board will need to be replaced. We hope this helps! If you have any questions, please let us know.

what could have caused the displal panel to crack sort of like a windshield crack?
For model number KESS907SSS
Hi Rosemary, thank you for the question. Based on our research, the most likely cause of this issue is overheating. You may have placed the cookware too close to the panel while using the cooktop. You may also need to make sure that the oven door seals properly as it may also cause this issue. We hope this information is useful!
