I connected a digital electric meter to my old part as well as the new part and am unable to see any current on either part. All test have show voltage as well as part #9 (partselect number ps11741729) can you confirm that the part i received #15 (partselect number ps11747263) will allow voltage, and that the new part i received was bad
Hello Alex, Thank you for your inquiry. A working thermostat tested at room temperature should have a reading of close to 0 ohms on a multimeter. I have also included our link for another type of test for the thermostat. Hope this helps!

I have a Whirlpool oven, gy396lxgq4, and I have low voltage going to my over heating element...only 49.6 volts. The broiler element is fine and receives 220 volts. What part could cause that?
