the timer died to where i manually had to run it
I took the back part off, had to use socket wrench and screw driver, lifted the top off, then I took the knob off, had to use the pliers to squeeze the ends together to take it off. then I took off the wire harness. Had to use the socket wrench . Took off the old timer and went in reverse to hook it all back together.

Washer suddenly does nothing but fill. Timer will not advance.
For model number tawx700pq1
Hi Steve. thank you for your question. There are a couple of parts that you should check. Your timer being one of them, you may also want to take a look at your door latch as well. Sometimes if that part is malfunctioning it will not let your appliance advance into the other parts of the cycle. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.

When the knob is pulled out it is making noise but the washer isn't doing anything.
For model number TAWX700JQ2
Hello Celeste, thank you for inquiring. For this symptom you will want to replace either the Lid Switch part PS11722098, the Direct Drive Motor Coupling part PS1485646, the Lid Strike part PS11741871, or the Motor Start Capacitor part PS11746660. We hope this helps.
