Part not specific to my dishwasher
The part was intended for a model made by Hotpoint? & not Kenmore although they are similar.
The repairman had to adjust the part to fit my machine.
The original parts were much sturdier & a better quality of plastic.

Part that attaches the sprayer arm was broken.
Removed first part of the broken part from the top rack of the dishwasher from below.
Removed the screw from the bottom of the sprayer arm to release the second half of the broken part.
Threaded new part in sprayer arm and replaced screw.
Attached part to top rack of dishwasher from below. This part was difficult. (The part appeared to be a little larger than the original.) It was a two person job, one person pushing down on the rack and the second pushing upwardand inward on the part it click to click it into place. Dishwasher now works great.

broken mount for spin arm
I removed broken mount by gently bending tabs, pressed new mount into upper dish rack, attached the spin arm and secured the mount with the screw.
A snap---it took less than 2 minutes after only a two day turnaround from ordering the part to receiving it at home..
Fantastic service. Thanks!!!!

Replaced the upper arm mount
Really simple and easy to do. You simply remove the screw from underneath. Unsnap the old upper arm mount from the rack. Put the new upper arm mount in. Attach the arm using the screw and you're done. Some may find it a bit awkward because screw in underneath the rack, facing up - but it is easy if you just get down there and look up.
The hardest part was removing the screw from the old broken mount. I suggest before you order the part, you should take a look around and see if there are any other parts in this area that are worn / need replacing so you can order everything all at once.
The parts arrived FAST!!!

Dishes in top rack are not getting clean (stay greasy, etc.) even when facing down toward the wash arm. I have dismantled and cleaned all of the parts, but no difference is seen. I need suggestions on repairing washer.
For model number KUDM01TJBL0
Hi Robin,
Thank you for the question. Dishes not coming clean can be caused by a few things. The most common is the chopper assembly, if this part is not working it is not chopping up the particles of food into small pieces to prevent the dishwasher pump from clogging. You can also try removing the circulation pump to see if it has been clogged and if it needs to be cleaned.
We also recommend checking the Sump Pump Check Valve,This valve allows the water to flow in the drain direction only and prevents the dirty water from coming back into the tub. If this part is damaged or missing it might be letting the dirty water back in and onto the dishes.
Hope this helps!
