water and ice dispenser would not work
I hired a repairman and it just took him a few minutes to take off the dispenser panel and install the parts. He put everything back and the green light came on. We drew out a couple of glasses of water and everything seemed to work fine. Then before he left he said "let's try it one more time". He put a glass under the water dispenser, pushed the button, something popped and would not work. He took the panel off again and checked the new part and the control board was burned out. It had a black mark on it. We don't know what happened and neither of us know how to find out what happened. Could you please help me. Thank you, Carole Prinz

F0 Error message - Oven won't heat
Removed front display panel by removing 3 screws with nut driver. Removed ERC control board from display panel by removing 2 screws. Labeled all wires according to the terminal description on the existing board (this is important as the new control board terminations are in different places than the existing one. Disconnected wires. Removed keying sleeve from 2 wires since the new control unit was keyed differently. Connected wires to the new control board. Re assembled board to display panel and panel to oven. Works great.

Ice dispenser door would not open
I had previously ordered the solenoid and door kit. The instructions were very well done. The pictures were a bit blurred but have been recopied several times however were adequate to see approximates on where things were. I removed solenoid and replaced it and the door flapper for ice dispenser. No problems with any of that. I had to work with the spring a little, I should have paid more attention to how many times to wrap it for the correct tension. However the solenoid was not the problem. There was intermittent operation from the solenoid when I would jiggle the pc board. Probably has a bad solder joint on the board. I ordered a new board, it took only 10 minutes to replace it since I was familiar with taking the housing loose. Put it all back together and it's working great. There was no drawing or instructions with the pc board but there were in the solenoid kit I had gotten first.
I do highly recommend Parts Select. Parts were shipped promptly. Matter of fact when I ordered the pc board early on Monday. I received it Tuesday afternoon with just ground delivery.
Very Happy Customer. Thanks Parts Select.

ice dispenser lights were out. Would not dispense ice or water.
Removed 3 torx screws, used pliers to release control board clips and removed board. Unplugged old board and plugged in new board. Replaced cover and lights were back on.
Put cup under water dispenser and pushed for water. The control board immediately exploded and smoke came out. The board was burnt to a crisp just like the one I replaced.
Now I'm out over $200 bucks.
