We're washing clothes again.
We were very happy with the speed of the delivery and the part worked perfectly. Had to dig through the washer manual to find out how to release the spring clips for the lid but once we had that off it was a simple install. We saved $30 on the price quoted by a local supplier and we got it faster than they said they could.

Washer stopped before rinse cycle
My husband actually did the repairs all I know is he removed the lid, removed the old switch and put in the new one. My washer works now and thats all I care about. I thank you for having the part and at a reasonable cost we were able to repair our washer considering it is twin stackable and is over 10 years old.
Thanks again!!!!
Thanks again!!!!

Washer failed to drain or spin
Diagnosis is the key. After reading that the 'open lid' switch could cause this problem I tested the switch by shorting it out (i.e. connected both sides of the switch) and setting the washer to 'Drain' after partially refilling the tub. The tub drained and the spin cycle started. Replaced the switch which is located underneath the top skin on the washing machine. Problem solved. The hardest part is the disassembly/assembly to get to the switch
