Washer control unit went out
Removed two front covers, the one with the dials and one between the washer drier which is at an angle. It was mostly plug and play. The tough part was not knowing the large dials do not pull off like the small dials. You need to pop off the end caps to expose the nuts that bolt the dials to their control boxes. Then remove the right screw on the the top front panel and slide the plastic edge to the right and the metal panel will come off exposing the left retaining screw.

Water does not come into the tub when I pull the knob on the washer. I have checked the water inlet valve and it is ok and there is plenty of water available. What are the chances that this part is faulty or could it be something else? When i turn the knob to spin and pull it out the washer will spin.
For model number LSE7806ADE
Hello Gary, Thank you for the question. If the valve checks out good and there is good water pressure to the valve, the timer is the next most likely part to replace. You can also check the Water Level Switch Kit, PartSelect Number PS2003728. Hope this helps!

Tub fills with water but won’t cycle to wash mode
For model number LSG7806ABE
Hello Bryan, thank you for the question. Based on our understanding of the issue, we would suggest checking the washer timer, part number PS11739312, to fix the issue. The timer controls most of the operations of the washer: water level, tub filling and emptying, length of cycles and cycle setting sequences. We hope this solves your problem!

I tried changing the washer timer as the washer will fill , but won’t cycle to wash- that did not work ,same problem ??
For model number LSG7806ABE
Hi Bryan, thank you for getting in touch. If you have already replaced the timer and the issue persists, we would suggest checking the lid check switch, part number PS11738787, as it is most likely faulty and may need to be replaced. We hope this solves your problem!
