Refrigerator freezes. Setting temp control to 1 doesn’t affect issue.
For model number ARS9268BB
Hello James, Thank you for the question. We suggest checking the Damper to make sure it is opening and closing normally. If stuck in the open position it can allow too much cold air through. We hope this helps!

Temperature in freezer gets warm (43) and then when i turn the knob down and back on it seems to make it kick back on and brings the freezer back to ~27 degrees. Does that sound like something this part might fix. If it doesn't fix the problem can i return the part?
For model number ARSE66ZBS
Hi Nathan,
Thank you for your question. If the freezer is too warm, the temperature control thermostat is one part you will need to check. There are some other parts that you will also need to check to see which one is causing the issue. You will need to check the run capacitor, the evaporator fan motor, the evaporator heater, the overload relay, the fan blade and the adaptive defrost control board. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!
