handle to open door was broke off
very easy to replace! !
Remove the retaining screws holding the inner door panel in place. Then lift the panel away, make sure you unplug the wiring connector there noting the way it was plugged in.
Then remove the screws holding the stainless trim panel in place over the latch assembly area. Unscrew the screw retaining the latch/switch assembly, unplug the connectors on each side of the two switches, assemble the new latch/switch assembly and install ! !

handle cracked and broke
My son was able to take the inside panel off to access area for handle to be replaced. A removal of approximately 12 screws and a little glue to glue felt pads in place VIOLA all fixed! Love this dishwasher so quiet and not ready to give it up.

Door handle cracked, then broke off
First, I shut off the power to the dishwasher.
Next, I opened the door flat and removed the Torx fasteners holding the door panel to the door frame. I then separated the door panel from the frame enough to remove the sheet metal around the latch assembly and the plastic guard protecting the control PCB. I removed one hex head screw to allow the latch assembly to be freed from its mounting. To remove the handle, I deflected the two stops limiting the handle travel, part of the door latch frame (white plastic) and removed the broken handle assembly. The new handle was then inserted into the latch frame after carefully transferring two small sticky backed foam bumpers from the old handle to the new one. If I had new sticky backed foam I would have used it instead, and I recommend replacing it. Be sure to snap the handle in far enough so the stops limiting the handle travel have snapped into place.
Reassembly was to put the latch assembly back in by aligning it on the boss on one side, and fastening it with the hex head screw on the other side. It has a locating shape on the two mounting points, so be sure to align it so the screw goes in properly., and the door panel screw will go in when you reinstall the door panel. Next, replace the sheet metal and the control PCB guard, and make sure they are in the right place, then close up the door panel and replace the Torx screws.
Turn on the power, and you're all set.

The handle is broken. I’ll order the handle/latch part. But, on the inside of the door, where the handle installs, i have only one intact prong and one cracked prong. Will this make the reinstallation impossible?
