I need to replace the lower rack track on my dishwasher. Which part is the left track as you look at the dishwasher and how do I replace it? I do not see screws like I thought I would.
For model number KDTE404DWH0
Hello Douglas,
Thanks for your question. Part number PS11723167 is the left track as you look at the dishwasher. Unplug the dishwasher and turn off the water supply. Lift up the locking tabs to remove the rack after pulling it out. Use a screwdriver to remove the mounting screws securing the access panels and remove the inner and outer panel with insulation. Use channel-lock pliers to unthread the water supply line elbow fitting from the inlet valve, and watch for any spare water. Use a nutdriver to unthread the screw to release the terminal box from the right support rail. Detach the cover and note the orientation of the wires, then untwist the wire nuts to disconnect the wires. Unthread the screw to release the grounding wire, and then the strain relief nut. Detach it and the wires. Disconnect the drain hose and feed it through the cabinet. Open the dishwasher door and remove the mounting bracket screws. You may need to adjust the legs to lower the appliance. Pull the dishwasher away from the cabinet carefully, as it is heavy. Use a 5-1/16" socket or nutdriver to unthread the screws securing the rack track. Remove the old track and install the new track. Reverse this process to put your dishwasher back into place.
I hope this helps.

I am looking for the plastic part that snaps in the left bottom dish rail. Not the support for the lower dish rack. The rail is ok with no damaged. But everytime i pull out the disch rack, the rack kind of slides out a bit from the left. I disassemble the dish rack and this is how it goes. I removed the dish rack from the plastic i am looking for, once apart, the dish rack still has the support attached(which is not the part i am looking for), then the rail has this plastic part which i can snap out by pulling up the front part first, then the back side. Then i can see the rail by itself. Every picture i see i cannot find the part. I am afraid this part only comes if i buy the slide rail. Please advise.

The lower right hand rack is not fully extending. I have had this issue in the past with the left side. Wd40 was able to get it operating freely. I can only find part numbers for lh side. What is part # for rh side. Do i need to remove entire dishwasher to replace it?

Can the left hand track for the lower level be installed by unscrewing the old bracket and screwing in the new one? Part # PS11723167
On your webpage for that part some employee described a complicated process of taking the panels off and disconnecting the drain hose!!! Seems ridiculous just to install the new track.
