Hello Marvin, thank you for your question. Unplug the appliance or pull the circuit breaker. Remove the door. Remove the racks. On the bottom of the oven the bottom plate has one screw in each of the two corners. Remove the two screws. Lift the plate up and out towards yourself and pull it out. This exposes the hidden bake element. Gently pull each of of the two connectors on the element. They will come out and you can see they have spades on each end. With the new element, carefully line up the spades to push in the the designated slots. And reverse steps. We hope this helps.
