Our washer would very easily go off kilter and not spin the wet clothes out from the very beginning. But now it can’t even handle a few (5) small dust rags. E9F2 codes as well. I unscrew and clean the pump outlet very often now, every 3rd wash. The first time there was a dental flossing stick in it-but now there is nothing there, and the washer still flashes the code, and won’t spin clothes out. I use the affresh tablets monthly. What might be going on with this machine?
For model number YMHWE251YL00
Hi Gayle, thank you for contacting us. If there is no clog in the filters and the drain hose is cleaned properly, then we recommend you check the drain pump, part number PS11757304, through the multimeter by doing a continuity test. We hope this information helps!

water pump failed
Pump started making noises like ball bearings grinding. took the lower front cover off pulled the strainer out of the pump housing and found $2.55 in nickles dimes and quarters. Some 223 bullets and about 20 bobby pins. Together they had destroyed the impeller, so ordering a new one and installing it did the trick. Easy installation about 15mins.

Door latch module was defective
This model is a front-loading washer. The spring loaded retainer for the front of the boot must be removed, then the boot can moved to the side exposing the module. Remove the two screws holding the model, pull the model out, remove the three electrical plugs, then reverse this procedure to install new module.
