The igniter keeps clicking even when shut off, we spilled liquid on the cook top, unplugged it let it dry and used a blow dryer, but it still clicks

Hi Paul, thank you for reaching out. Based on our research, the issue is most likely with the igniter, part number PS1016133, and you may need to replace it to fix the issue. Before replacing it, we would suggest checking the burner igniter switch to ensure it is not faulty. We hope this sorts out your problem!
Soup boiled over into control switches (there's also oil inside soup). Then sparks/flame were flying out from control switches. I then disconnect the gas top.
After drying and blow drying into control switches with hair dryer, I then reconnect gas top and try to start up one stove but massive sparks flew out from the controller.
What do you think is the problem and what parts do you think need replacing? Please advice! Thank you!

What is the difference between these two parts?
PS1016133
PS 952858
Will both fit JGP970SEK2SS?
PS 952858 looks shorter, will the spring and clip fit onto this one?

Hello Richard, thank you for reaching out. The function of both parts is the same. The igniter and top burner spark electrode both provide the spark that lights the surface burner. We have researched your model and found that the igniter, part number PS1016133, is compatible with your model. We hope this is what you were looking for!
I need to replace the cracked glass top. Is there a repair manual or you tube video available?
For model number JGP970SEK2SS
Hello Patrick, thank you for reaching out. Make sure that power is disconnected before servicing. Remove all control knobs. Remove all burner caps. Remove the screws securing the burner bases. Use a number 15 torx bit for this removal. Lift the burner bases up from the glass maintop and remove the spark ignition wire from each burner electrode. Lift the cooktop from the burner box bottom. CAUTION: 1. When replacing burner bases on glass top models, do not tighten screws beyond 10 in. lbs. torque. 2. When replacing the burner base on the 18,000 BTU burner, make sure you do not tighten the base too tightly to the burner inlet. Over tightening will cause stripping of the screw. 3. Cooktops: Before removing glass maintop, inspect the installation from below to be sure cooktop is resting on the burner box top mounting flange and not the glass maintop. 4. The rubber seal must be re-installed to prevent spillovers from seeping into the burner box bottom. We hope this helps, good luck with this repair!

A rubber grate foot on my range top had worn out. I pulled the worn foot out and installed the new grate foot with no tools or accessories. Good as new! Now I don't have to worry about the grate scraping my range top and scratching the paint. I also ordered extras so I won't have to wait if another wears out.
I was pretty upset as the grate wobbled, so I went on line and looked for GE Profile parts. To my amazement, I found the little rubber feet quite easily, and within 2 days they were here at my home. I simply had to stick them in the holes; however, I noted that they did not fit real tight, so I removed them and shot a little glue on them, and they have been in place ever since. Thanks to you guys, I am a happy camper now!!!
